NKF assists Gasverbund Mittelland in obtaining EUR 200 million credit facility
Niederer Kraft Frey has advised Gasverbund Mittelland on the raising of a EUR 200 million syndicated credit facility focused on securing the provision of gas during the upcoming heating season. The company is a renowed procurement and grid company of natural and biogas to the Plateau and Northwestern regions in Switzerland. UBS Switzerland has acted as arranger, agent, fronting bank and lender, Credit Suisse Switzerland as arranger and lender and Basler Kantonalbank as lender.
The NKF team was led by partner Philip Spoerlé (m&a/finance, pictured), working with junior associate Alexander Züger (finance) and partner Markus Kronauer (tax).
Also Advestra has acted as legal counsel to the banking syndicate in the transaction. The team included Alexander von Jeinsen (pictured) and Annina Hammer (both financing) as well as Céline Martin (xax).
