Baker McKenzie advises Patrimonium on buying into Bächler + Güttinger

Baker McKenzie advised Patrimonium Private Equity Fund advised by Patrimonium Private Equity Advisors — on the acquisition of a majority stake in the Bernese gardening company Bächler + Güttinger in Kiesen, canton of Berne. The parties have agreed not to disclose the transaction price. 

Bächler + Güttinger is a competent partner for all matters related to gardens, sports fields and other green spaces. Bächler + Güttinger is a gardening and landscaping company in Switzerland that employs around 200 people. The new majority shareholding under the management of Patrimonium, which also includes EGS Beteiligungen, a subsidiary of the Ernst Göhner Foundation, will strengthen the company’s organizational structure and secure a sustainable national growth strategy. 

Patrimonium and EGS Beteiligungen are long-standing Swiss real estate developer with holdings in and around the construction sector. They possess comprehensive knowhow and networks in the real estate and construction supply industries. 

Baker McKenzie advised Patrimonium on all the legal aspects of the transaction including acquisition financing.
