Pierre Tercier joins Peter & Kim as senior counsel

Pierre Tercier (pictured) has joined the firm Peter & Kim as senior counsel in Geneva.

Tercier is the former president of the ICC International Court of Arbitration. He has been practising independently since 2008 and has heard over 150 arbitrations, including the Abaclat vs Argentina dispute brought by Italian bondholders and an ICSID claim lodged by Omani construction company Desert Line Projects against Yemen.

He was admitted to the Fribourg bar in 1969. Tercier will continue to be an independent arbitrator alongside his new advisory role as senior counsel at Peter & Kim. He will also continuing to accept appointments as an independent arbitrator, as well as his teaching commitments at the University of Fribourg where he is Professor Emeritus.

Peter & Kim was launched in 2019 by Korean practitioner Kevin Kim and Geneva- based Wolfgang Peter and has ofces in Switzerland, South Korea, Australia and Singapore.
