GHR Rechtsanwälte advises Rewe on its deal with Deutsche Seereederei 

Der Touristik Group, a member of German Rewe Group, has formed a joint venture with Dsr Holding, a subsidiary of Deutsche Seereederei Group. The two companies each hold a 50% stake in DR Hospitality & Co. which was established for the purpose of the transaction. The closing of the transaction is still subject to clearance by the relevant antitrust authorities. 

The new company will be represented by Sören Hartmann, Ceo Der Touristik Group, and board member of Rewe Group, as well as Horst Rahe, managing partner of Deutsche Seereederei. Former Dsr Hotel Holding managers Daniel Bär and Björn Franz will take over the management. 

With 16 hotels and resorts under the brands A-rosa Resorts & Hideaways, aja and Henri Hotels, which also include Hotel aja Zurich and Hotel Louis C. Jacob in Hamburg, the joint venture aims to make its mark in environmentally friendly and sustainable tourism in Europe.
