Rolex general counsel Alexander Troller elected Swiss Watch Industry vice-president

Alexander Troller, group general counsel of Rolex, has been elected vice-president of the Federation of the Swiss Watch Industry (FH).

Announcing the appointment in a LinkedIn post, Troller highlighted the challenges facing the industry: “The coming years will test our ability to remain open to the world while staying rooted in what makes Swiss watchmaking distinctive; to attract the next generation of talent; to defend the integrity of Swiss Made; and to continue creating products whose value transcends their function”.

The profile

Troller joined Rolex in 2025 from Swiss law firm Lalive, where he was a partner and served as managing partner for more than a decade. A litigation specialist, he has extensive experience in financial disputes, corporate and shareholder litigation, white-collar crime, estate and inheritance disputes, employment conflicts, as well as asset recovery and judicial assistance in civil and criminal matters.
