Sebastiano Garufi Giuliani appointed as partner of Altenburger
Altenburger Ltd legal + tax has appointed Sebastiano Garufi Giuliani (pictured) as partner, effective January 1, 2022.
Sebastiano Garufi Giuliani joined Altenburger’s Tax Practice Group in Lugano as a senior associate in January 2018.
During his time at the firm, Giuliani has become an established expert in his field and an important member of the Altenburger team.
Sebastiano Garufi Giuliani specializes in the area of Swiss, Italian and international tax law, and advises individuals and companies in their cross-border legal and tax issues between Italy and Switzerland. He particularly focuses on corporate restructuring, VAT and customs duties, international gift taxes, real estate taxes, exchange of information, and tax crimes. He assists his clients in all aspects of their relationships with the tax authorities, from compliance to litigation and advanced tax agreements.
