Xebia acquisition of SwissQ Consulting, Bär & Karrer and CMS advising

Xebia, a worldwide IT consultancy company with seat in the Netherlands and portfolio company of Waterland, has entered into a share purchase agreement regarding the acquisition of SwissQ Consulting, a Swiss company active in IT consulting services and related training services, from the founders.  

Bär & Karrer acts as legal advisor to Xebia in this transaction. The team is being co-led by Christoph Neeracher (pictured right) and Philippe Seiler (pictured left) and includes Elisabeth Rinderknecht, Carlo Hunter and Patrick Zumsteg (all m&a), Susanne Schreiber and Martin Leu (both tax), Jonas Bornhauser (IP/IT), Laura Widmer and Fanny Sutter (both employment), Kilian Mü

ller (real estate), Mani Reinert and Tobias Rebmann (both antitrust) as well as Rehana Harasgama (data protection). 

A CMS team led by partner Daniel Jenny (corporate/m&a, pictured) advised the shareholders of SwissQ Consulting on all legal and tax matters in connection with the transaction. The team further included partner Mark Cagienard (tax), partner Christian Gersbach (employment), associates Ferdinand Blezinger and Florian Jung (both corporate/m&a), associate Jens Lehmann (tax) along with attorney trainee Tarik Salkim.
