Sevensense Robotics completes USD 7.7m Series A Financing Round
Sevensens Robotics has raised its Series A investment of USD 7.7 million, led by ABB Technology Ventures, which is expected to close by the end of November 2021. Sevensense Ronotics is a Swiss-based start-up founded in 2018 as a spin-off from ETH Zurich. The company specialises in AI and 3D Vision technology for autonomous mobile robotics and is active in the material handling and professional cleaning industries.
The strategic partnership between ABB and Sevensense Robotics aims to enhance ABB’s new autonomous mobile robotics (AMR) offering with artificial intelligence (AI) and 3D vision mapping technology.
Advestra acted as legal counsel to ABB. The team consisted of partner Daniel Raun (pictured left), associate Anna Capaul and junior associate Marlon Bertolini (all corporate/m&a).
