STMicroelectronics to acquire majority stake in Exagan: the advisors

STMicroelectronics, Switzerland-based manufacturer and supplier of a range of semi-conductors, has acquired a majority stake in in French Gallium Nitride (GaN) innovator Exagan. Its expertise in epitaxy, product development and application know-how will accelerate Stm’s power GaN roadmap and business for automotive, industrial and consumer applications. As a part of the transaction, Innovacom have sold their investment in Exagan. The agreement provides provisions for Stm to acquire the remaining minority stake after 24 months of the completion.
