Thouvenin advises FemtoTools’ selling shareholders
Zurich-based Thouvenin advised the shareholders of Swiss high-tech company FemtoTools, in connection with their sale to British firm Oxford Instruments.
The parties
Femto Tools develops and sells high resolution, MEMS-based nanoindenters for applications in metallurgy, thin films, and microsystems technology. As of june 2024 the company became officially part of Oxford Instruments.
Originally a spin off by Oxford University, Oxford Instruments provides academic and commercial organisations at global level with scientific technology and expertise. Its key market segments are materials analysis, healthcare & life Science, and semiconductors. The company is currently listed on the London Stock Exchange.
