TX Group acquires Immowelt Switzerland

Walder Wyss represented TX Group in the merger control proceedings related to the acquisition of the Swiss business of the German company immowelt.

Immowelt Switzerland operates an online marketplace for real estate primarily in German-speaking Switzerland under the domain “immowelt.ch”.

Both private and commercial providers can place and search for classified ads for the rental and sale of real estate on immowelt.ch.

The merger was cleared by the Swiss Competition Commission (ComCo) after a phase I investigation. The team involved in this matter was led by the Walder Wyss partner Reto Jacobs (pictured) and included the counsel Gion Giger.
