VISCHER promotes Raphael Butz to partner
As of January 2021, VISCHER promotes Raphael Butz (pictured) to partner. He is a litigator and arbitrator with many years of experience in handling complex national and international disputes. Butz advises companies, private individuals and public entities on resolutions for all types of conflicts. He represents his clients’ interests in court and administrative proceedings, arbitration proceedings as well as alternative dispute resolution settings and out-of-court settlement negotiations.
Raphael Butz focuses on construction and real estate law, banking law, commercial law, corporate law and the law of succession. He regularly publishes and lectures on civil procedure, construction and real estate law topics. At the beginning of his lawyer career, he worked for a Zurich commercial law firm, advising clients on corporate, contract and banking law matters as well as on real estate and M&A transactions. He joined VISCHER in 2011 and quickly developed into a valuable and essential member of our litigation & arbitration team.
