Voliro secures USD 12 mln funding round: the advisors
Walder Wyss has advised Voliro, an innovator in aerial mobile robotics, on securing USD 12 million in funding to advance its mission to transform industrial inspections with aerial robotics. The Series A financing round was led by Cherry Ventures, advised by Niederer Kraft Frey (“NKF”), with additional funding obtained from existing business angels, family offices, and via a conventional debt facility.

About the funding
Bringing its funding to date to $22 million, this new capital injection was led by Cherry Ventures, with additional investment from existing business angels, family offices, and a conventional debt facility as a minority part of the round, according to the company.
Voliro
Founded in 2019 as a spinoff of ETH Zurich, Voliro is a Swiss startup developing advanced flying robots to perform inspection and maintenance tasks more safely, cost-effectively and faster than conventional methods.
