Bär & Karrer with xFarm Technologies on €36 mln financing round
Bär & Karrer advises xFarm Technologies, focusing on the digitalisation of the agri-food sector, on €36 million series C financing round.

Bär & Karrer serves as legal advisor in this latest round and previously acted in the same capacity during the first two financing rounds. The team is co-led by Raphael Annasohn (pictured left) and Massimo Vanotti (pictured right) and includes Bryan Bruschi, Lukas Bründler (all startup, venture capital, and corporate), Sandro Gaggini (startup, venture capital, corporate and notarial services), Matthias Bizzarro (Tax), Silja Fontana (corporate), and Rocco Rigozzi (corporate and notarial services).
About the financing round
The new round, which follows the €17 million Series B round in 2022 and the initial €3 million round in 2019, was led by global technology investment firm Partech Impact, through its Impact Growth Fund, which aims to scale up European impact-native technology leaders seeking to solve environmental and social challenges.
The aim of the funding
Additionally, the round saw participation from Mouro Capital, a London-based venture capital firm. This latest injection of capital will enable xFarm Technologies to accelerate its expansion across Europe, Turkey, Latin America, India and the US, enhance its services and provide even greater support for the implementation of regenerative agriculture, using models based on artificial intelligence technologies for data analysis.
