Walder Wyss advises HPS on its acquisition of BW Service

Hanseatic Power Service (HPS Group), a portfolio company of Ufenau Capital Partners, has acquired BW Service. Based in Utzensdorf. BW Service is a long-standing expert in mechanical maintenance and overhaul work, particularly in the areas of plant and machine service, pump and gearbox service, steel construction, metal construction and pipeline construction.

HPS Group is a fast-growing group of companies from Hamburg and provides Testing, Inspection, Certification & Services (TIC & S) across various industries. The acquisition of BW Service allows HPS Group to enter the Swiss market and fosters its goal to become the leading TIC & S provider in the DACH region.

Walder Wyss has advised HPS Group on the transaction.
