Walder Wyss advises ITS on its sale to GEODIS

GEODIS, one of the world’s leading transport and logistics companies, has acquired International Transport & Shipping. ITS is an independent Swiss freight forwarder founded in 1992 and headquartered in Reinach in the canton of Basel-Landschaft. The company mainly offers specialised services for the high-tech sector. In particular, this involves organising transport and logistics for dedicated projects and oversized equipment for industry, the automotive sector and the defence industry. The company also offers standard sea freight and general freight services as well as other additional services. In total, ITS employs 26 people and reported sales of CHF 58 million for 2022.

Walder Wyss has advised the ITS shareholders in this transaction. The team was led by partner Robert von Rosen (corporate/m&a, pictured) and further included Katja Schott-Morgenroth (partner, notarial services), Michelle Bruni (managing associate, corporate/m&a) and Bojan Momic (associate, corporate/m&a).
