Walder Wyss advises DSM in EUR35 Billion merger with Firmenich
DSM and Firmenich have successfully concluded their merger announced on 31 May 2022, becoming a powerful creation and innovation partner in nutrition, beauty, and well-being. The EUR 35 billion business combination solidifies their position in the industry.
DSM shareholders received 65.5% of the shares in the newly formed DSM-Firmenich, while former Firmenich shareholders received 34.5% of the shares and EUR 3.5 billion in cash.
DSM is a global leader in health, nutrition, and bioscience, specializing in nutritional ingredients, while Firmenich is the world’s largest privately-owned fragrance and taste company. The merger will drive advancements, set new standards, and deliver innovative and sustainable products.
