Homburger advises Fluence on financing the acquisition of Nispera

Homburger acted as counsel to Fluence in connection with certain financing aspects of the acquisition of Nispera. Headquartered in Arlington, USA, Fluence is a global provider of energy storage products, services and digital applications for renewables and storage. In 2022, Fluence acquired Nispera, a Zurich-based provider of artificial intelligence and machine learning-enabled software-as-a-service that helps customers monitor, analyze and optimize the performance and value of renewable energy assets.

Homburger advised with regard to all Swiss legal aspects of the financing transaction. The team was led by partner Daniel Haeberli (financing, pictured) and included Fabrice Eckert, Simone Gloor and Yulia Shaburnykova (all financing) and Stefan Oesterhelt (tax).
