Wenger Plattner adds Dirk Spacek as partner
Wenger Plattner has officialised that Dirk Spacek will join the firm’s partnership within the IP/IT and data protection practice group, effective July 1, 2026. Spacek moves from CMS, where he co-headed the IP/IT and data protection practice.
Practice focus
Spacek advises Swiss and international companies on matters at the intersection of technology, law and business, with particular attention to data-driven business models and regulatory issues. His activity covers intellectual property law, regulation of digital platforms, media and entertainment, e-commerce, outsourcing, cloud computing and IT contracts, as well as data protection and cybersecurity. He also works with small and medium-sized enterprises and startups on general contract management and supports technology-related M&A transactions, in addition to advising on and representing clients in commercial disputes.
Spacek regularly represents clients before state courts and is a certified mediator with the Institution for IT and Data Dispute Resolution (ITDR).
