Wenger Vieli Advises CTSYSTEMS on its sale to DATWYLER

Wenger Vieli has advised the shareholders of the Swiss startup company  CTsystems, a highly-specialized engineering company, on its sale to Datwyler, a specialist for system-critical elastomer components, on all legal and tax aspects.

As we already reported last week here, Baker McKenzie Switzerland has advised publicly listed Datwyler on this transaction.

The acquisition is the final chapter of a multi-year collaboration and will strengthen Datwyler’s position for the future technology of electroactive polymers by obtaining several patents of CTsystems.

The Wenger Vieli team was led by Michael Baier (partner, m&a / corporate, pictured) and included Barbara Brauchli Rohrer (partner, tax), Claudia Keller (counsel, IP), Jonas Bühlmann (senior associate, tax), Dominique Mattmann (associate, m&a / corporate), Nathalie Germann (associate, employment law), and Zeynep Kologlu (junior lawyer).
