Wenger & Vieli: Jonas Bühlmann joins the law firm

Jonas Bühlmann (pictured above), Swiss certified Tax Expert, joins Wenger & Vieli as a senior associateWenger & Vieli announced two new additions to their firm.

Bühlmann specializes in national and international tax law. He advises in particular on mergers and acquisitions, reorganizations and corporate restructuring as well as real estate transactions.

Prior to joining Wenger & Vieli Jonas Bühlmann was with KPMG for almost a decade, where he served as a Tax Manager, tax Advisor and an external auditor.

Loris Baumgartner

In addition to this new joiner the firm announced the appointment of Loris Baumgartner (pictured left). He specializes on the areas of criminal law and litigation as well as commercial law and contract law. Baumgartner started his work as an intern at Wenger & Vieli in 2019. He was admitted to the Bar of the Canton of Zug in 2021 and is now an associate with Wenger & Vieli.

Prior to joining Wenger & Vieli Loris Baumgartner completed a legal internship in the white-collar crime division of the Office of the Attorney General of Switzerland (OAG) in Bern. He started his legal career as a legal assistant for MSG Rechtsanwälte & Notare where he spent more than two years.

Baumgartner was also the founder and co-managing director of a legal consulting start-up in Lucerne. Loris Baumgartner is currently working on a doctoral thesis in the field of criminal law relating to corruption.
