Wenger Vieli: Mait Swiss acquires Cytrus
MAIT reaches an agreement on the acquisition of the Swiss-based Cytrus – a subsidiary of bytics Group and software solution provider with a focus on the digitization of product life cycles. The St. Gallen based MAIT supports Swiss companies in implementing abas ERP.
After MAIT had already acquired the Swiss “bytics for Manufacturers” and the German “abas Consulting” from the bytics Group in 2021, this was another strategic step for both companies.
For MAIT Swiss the acquisition signifies an enormous increase in PLM capabilities in Switzerland. The expansion of the business is the logical consequence of the continuous, successful growth course of the MAIT Group in the DACH region. In the future, MAIT Swiss will be able to offer the comprehensive Siemens PLM portfolio in addition to its ERP, IT and PTC offerings.
Wenger Vieli has advised MAIT on all Swiss legal aspects alongside Watson Farley & Williams (Munich).
