Bcomp completes its CHF 32.4 m series B financing round

Bcomp, lightweighting specialists, closed its oversubscribed Series B financing round of CHF 32.4 million (USD 35 m). The round was led by automotive OEM venture funds BMW i Ventures and included a group of mobility and impact venture capital funds. 

Bcomp offers solutions for a cleaner future by applying the latest composites knowledge to natural fibres in the automotive, mobility, motorsports, marine, sports and lifestyle sectors. The new funding will be used scale the business to a global commercial and production footprint, maximizing its sustainability impact. 

The new investors also include Porsche Ventures and Volvo Cars Technology Fund, alongside Airbus Ventures, Generali and existing shareholders, collectively adding new competencies to help fuel Bcomp’s hyper growth.
