Cinzia Catelli appointed as new member to Arbitration Court

The Swiss Arbitration Centre has appointed Bär & Karrer‘s partner Cinzia Catelli as a new member of their Arbitration Court.

The Arbitration Court is an independent body responsible for the administration of arbitration cases under the Swiss Rules of International Arbitration and the final authority for the proper application of the Swiss Rules. This Court is composed of leading arbitration practitioners of Swiss and other nationalities.

Cinzia Catelli’s preferred area of practice focuses on domestic and international arbitration and litigation. She also acts regularly as arbitrator in proceedings governed by the ICC Rules and the Swiss Rules of arbitration. Her practice encompasses commercial disputes in various industries, including real estate development contracts, distribution agreements, sales contracts, lease agreements, labour law, and corporate law disputes litigation.

Since 2014 she is a member of Bär & Karrer‘s litigation and arbitration practice teams in Zurich, working regularly also with the litigation practice in Ticino. Prior to this she worked at the law firm Niederer Kraft Frey.
