Deka Immobilien Investment acquires major logistics building near Geneva 

Baker McKenzie advised Deka Immobilien Investment (“Deka”) on its successful acquisition of the EK2 building, a major warehouse and logistics building near Geneva, from a Compagnie des Parcs subsidiary. The EK2 building is a ground lease property on land owned by Fondation pour les terrains industriels (FTI), a cantonal public entity. 

The recently completed multitenant EK2 building was developed as a multistory warehouse and logistics property. It is approximately 18,000 square meters of leasable space feature cutting-edge technology, temperature and hygrometric control, multiple freight elevators and 128 parking slots. It will be certified under the environmentally friendly Minergie standard. 

Baker McKenzie Switzerland advised Deka on all legal aspects of this acquisition.
