Homburger advises GTT Communications in recent financing agreements 

Homburger acted as counsel to GTT Communications on certain financing aspects related to its recent restructuring efforts. Homburger acted as counsel to GTT Communications in connection with a term loan credit agreement with Wilmington Savings Funds Society, FSB, serving as the administrative agent, and an asset-based loan credit agreement with Wingspire Capital as the administrative agent. 

These credit agreements were entered into following GTT Communications’ successful emergence from US Chapter 11 restructuring proceedings on December 30, 2022. The company, headquartered in McLean, Virginia, USA, operates a global internet network and offers a comprehensive suite of cloud networking and managed solutions, leveraging cutting-edge software-defined networking and security technologies. 

Homburger advised GTT Communications with regard to all Swiss legal aspects of the financing transactions. The team was led by partner Daniel Haeberli (financing) and included associate Fabrice Eckert (financing) and partner Stefan Oesterhelt (tax).
