Homburger advises lenders on connection with financing of OIL!
Homburger acted as counsel to a syndicate of international financial institutions led by HSBC Bank plc in connection with certain financing aspects of Prax Group’s acquisition of OIL! Tankstellen GmbH.
Headquartered in London, United Kingdom, Prax Group is a global energy company selling fuel and non-fuel convenience products and services. In December 2023, Prax Group acquired OIL! Tankstellen GmbH, which has been operating a continuously growing network of filling stations in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Denmark since 1994.
Homburger advised the lenders in this financing with regard to all Swiss legal aspects. The team was led by Daniel Haeberli (Financing) and included Fabrice Eckert (Financing), Simone Gloor (Financing) and Stefan Oesterhelt (Tax).
