Louis Burrus and Clara Poglia will co-head SW’s Litigation practice in Geneva

Schellenberg Wittmer announced that Louis Burrus (pictured left) and Clara Poglia (pictured right) will jointly co-head the litigation practice in Geneva. As prominent litigation practitioners, Louis and Clara take this role over from former practice head Christian Girod, who has headed the litigation practice in Geneva since 2000. Schellenberg Wittmer’s litigation practice is one of the largest in Switzerland and is ranked within the top tier of leading international legal publications.

Burrus is dual-qualified in Switzerland and in England & Wales (Solicitor of the Senior Courts). Louis specializes in domestic and international commercial litigation, in particular in banking and financial disputes. He advises clients in cross-border multi-jurisdictional disputes and has extensive experience in conducting corporate internal investigations, including white-collar matters.

Poglia specializes in White-Collar Crime and Compliance, Dispute Resolution and Internal Corporate Investigations.  She runs plenty of activities that see her at the forefront of the Swiss legal community. One of them is her role as chapter leader of the Women in White Collar Defense association’s Swiss Chapter.
