MLL Legal advises and assists ARTEX MTF

MLL legal has advised ARTEX on the filing of an application for recognition as foreign trading venue for the admission of Swiss participants as well as the compliance requirements of the ARTEX MTF Rules for the first issuer. The lawyers leading the project from the side of MLL Legal were Reto Luthiger (pictured) (Partner, Regulatory, Fintech and DLT) and Diana Lafita (Senior Associate, Regulatory, Fintech and DLT). ARTEX MTF is a multilateral trading facility licensed and supervised in the Principality of Liechtenstein in conformity with the European Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID II), that has been exclusively created for admitting securitisation vehicles to trading which hold a prominent piece of artwork. This follows the trend of democratisation of investment, in this case making the most sophisticated artwork which has historically been reserved to art collectors, easily accessible to different investor groups.
