Thierry Burkart appointed Of Counsel at Kellerhals Carrard

Thierry Burkart has joined Kellerhals Carrard as Of Counsel on 1 October 2022. Burkart will advise SMEs and entrepreneurs including public and private partnership projects. His legal focus is on corporate and foundation law as well as general civil law. He sits on the boards of various nationally and internationally active companies in the construction, real estate and IT sectors. Burkart has been Central President of ASTAG, the Swiss Commercial Vehicles Association, since 2020. He is also president of the Alliance Security Switzerland, which was founded in 2021.

In the 2015 federal elections, Burkart was elected to the National Council, followed four years later by election to the Council of States. He is a member of the Security Policy Commission, the Commission for Transport and Telecommunications and the Business Audit Commission. His political priorities are transport policy, economic policy and security policy. In October 2021, the delegates of the FDP Switzerland elected Burkart as their president.
