Walder Wyss with TransPerfect on Apostroph acquisition
Walder Wyss advised American translation and language services company TransPerfect throughout its acquisition of Apostroph Group, a Switzerland- and Germany-based language service provider (LSP).
The context
In connection with the deal, TransPerfect expands its yet existing footprint in the highly strategic DACH region, which already includes multiple client service, production, and studio facilities all across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
Lucerne-based Apostroph has in fact managed to leverage a combination of organic growth and M&A, including its notable 2017 merger with Germany-based Wieners+Wieners, thus becoming increasingly present in the DACH region.
